Tree Service in Sidney, MI
Deep glacial sand, tall hardwoods over rural rooflines, and two lake shorelines — our crews are based on West Sidney Road, working the ground we live on.
Tree Service in Greenville, MI
Ice storms, a tornado outbreak, and twenty years of dead ash have all left their mark on Greenville's canopy. We take the hazards down before they come down on their own.
Tree Service in Rockford, MI
The Rogue River canopy is why people move here. Preventive crown care, careful removals, and honest scheduling keep it an asset over your home — not a hazard.
Tree Service in Belding, MI
The silk mills built Belding's neighborhoods a century ago, and the trees planted alongside them are now the oldest things on the block. We keep them safe — or take them down right.
Also serving Cedar Springs, Lowell, Grand Rapids, Howard City, Ionia, Lakeview, and Stanton.

About Us
Matthew & the G & R Crew, Working Michigan Trees Since 2022
G & R Tree Surgeons started in 2022 with a simple idea: a tree service in Montcalm County should be the kind of outfit you'd recommend to your neighbor without a second thought. We're based on West Sidney Road in Sidney, surrounded by the country that keeps a tree crew busy: mature hardwoods over old farmhouses, wooded parcels that need thinning, lake properties ringed with trees, and in-town yards where one overgrown maple hangs over three things you'd rather it didn't.
Michigan hasn't made it easy on property owners lately. The emerald ash borer has left dead ash standing across the region, oak wilt limits when oaks can safely be pruned, and every round of wind and ice finds the weak limbs first. That is the environment this company grew up in, and it shapes how we work in Sidney, Greenville, Rockford, and Grand Rapids: look at the tree in person, price it honestly in writing, do it carefully, clean up completely.
How It Works
From First Call to Final Cleanup
Step 1
Free On-Site Estimate
Call or send a request and we'll set up a visit. Matthew or a crew member walks the property with you and looks at the actual trees, stumps, and access.
Step 2
Clear Written Quote
You get a straightforward written price for the full scope of work (debris removal included) before anything goes on the schedule.
Step 3
The Work Day
Our own crew arrives as scheduled and works carefully around your home, lines, and landscaping, bringing limbs down in controlled sections instead of letting anything free-fall.
Step 4
Cleanup & Walkthrough
We haul the debris, tidy the site, and walk the finished job with you to make sure it's done right before we leave.
